    Wetlands Australia is an annual publication by the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. Wetlands Australia brings together information and resources from across Australia relating to wetlands conservation, management and education.

    Published by the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ).

    This is a quarterly journal published in hard copy and distributed free to members of EIANZ. It covers general issues of policy and practice in resource and environmental management, with a focus on Australian and New Zealand practice. The journal aims to enhance communication and understanding across many areas of resource and environmental management, contributing to improving environmental practice.

  • Environmental Practice Newsletter
    Published by the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ).

    This is a free newsletter designed for EIANZ members, but it can also be accessed by the public. Articles and news contributions are primarily provided by EIANZ members.

  • Local Government News
    Published by Hallmark Editions.

    Local Government News was initiated to give selective information to local government councils, which number more than 700 in Australia. Articles of interest include best practice innovations, information on new federal and state government funding sources, the impact of new technologies, human resources issues, asset management, occupational health and safety, road management and maintenance, and environment and economic development matters.

  • Queensland Environmental Law Practice Reporter
    Published by the Queensland Environmental Law Association.

    A quarterly publication instigated in 1995 as a joint venture between the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Queensland Environmental Law Association (QELA), this newsletter is available via subscription by QELA members.

    Published by Trust for Nature (Victoria).

    The Conservation Bulletin is published tri-annually by Trust for Nature’s Melbourne office. It is circulated among Trust for Nature supporters and other associated organisations. The publication features updates on recent Trust for Nature activities and projects and also provides an in-depth exploration of various environmental issues.

  • Ecological Management and Restoration
    Published by Blackwell Publishing on behalf of Ecological Society of Australia.

    EMR is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to promoting improved ecosystem management and restoration within the context of ecologically sustainable utilisation. It seeks original contributions from both scientists and practitioners that focus on the management and restoration of plant and animal communities, but the publication will consider cross-disciplinary contributions.

  • Water and Environment Journal
    Published by Blackwell Publishing on behalf of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM).

    Water and Environment Journal is an international academic publication, widely read by professionals working in academia, consultancies, government, regulators, NGOs and the environmental industry.

  • New Scientist
    Published by Reed Business Information Ltd.

    New Scientist is available as an online blog, and is updated frequently with articles and issues relevant to international science ventures. It is also available in print format for a subscription cost

  • Wingspan
    Wingspan is Birds Australia's full-colour, quarterly membership magazine. We tackle topics ranging from the environmental impacts of wind farms, to farm retirement, biodiversity in plantations, bird behaviour, bird identification and good birding locations. Wingspan is published in March, June, September and December, and is received by all Birds Australia's members.
