WetlandMaps Help
SearchingThe searching function is used to quickly find a place in Queensland based on the users search parameters. The search parameters can be in the form of a street address, lot/plan, coordinate or keyword. The search is performed against 2 search services, WetlandMaps and Google. The WetlandMaps search uses State Government data to match the users search parameters. Sometimes, results won’t be matched using the WetlandMaps search so the Google search is used to supplement this search. BasemapsThe basemap provides the user contextual information for navigating and viewing. There are 4 basemap options to choose from;
All basemaps are provided by Google. LayersTurning on/offTo view a layer in WetlandMaps, check the checkbox next to the layer name. If the layer is within its viewable scale range, it will be displayed. If it is not within its viewable scale range, zoom in until the layer is visible.
