Wetlands hydro-climate information toolThe wetlands hydro-climate information tool is an interactive tool that relates zonal discharge, stream height, rainfall and runoff indices to the imagery used for the Queensland Wetland Mapping. The tools provide historical context to evaluate the representativeness and variability of the hydro-climatic conditions that are relevant to wetland inundation and the extent of inundation. The information may also be used to evaluate the circumstances that lead to wetland filling and to identify changes in wetland filling processes for different wetland types. This is important for wetland assessment and the management of wetlands at a subregional scale.
